Videolab vision4rail – a complete image processing system for the DIN rail
The new DIN rail image processing computer "Videolab vision4rail" from ASENTICS is a full-fledged image processing system for direct integration into the control cabinet. Vision4rail perfectly bridges the gap in both performance and price between smart cameras and industrial PCs and seamlessly integrates into the ASENTICS product family. In a compact and industrial-grade aluminum housing, vision4rail combines all the features of a modern image processing system. Software and interface are identical to the ASENTICS Videolab G7 generation. Vision4rail thus guarantees a high degree of flexibility and is well prepared for future requirements. Easy integration into the control cabinet. Due to its compact design, easy and flexible mounting on a support rail, and plug-in screw terminals, the system can be easily integrated into a control cabinet. Lockable connectors for the two digital cameras reliably prevent disconnection and provide additional signals for power supply and control of light sources. The digital inputs and outputs are opto-isolated and equipped with indicator lights. Additionally, the system provides connectors for two USB 2.0 and one serial interface, Ethernet, VGA, as well as mouse and keyboard. The externally accessible slot for CompactFlash modules can be used for data transfer, data backup, or even for hosting the entire operating software, enabling diskless operation.
