ColorMatic 1K filler primer is a universal 1K primer that offers excellent adhesion, corrosion protection, and filling power on all metallic substrates and all conventional plastics used in the automotive sector. Weldable. Can be painted over with all common water-based paints, 1K and 2K topcoat systems. Fast drying. Depending on the layer thickness, it can be used variably as a primer or filler. ColorMatic filler primer HG1 to HG8 offer optimal synergy effects in modern car repair painting for time and material savings. HG1 (white) is also suitable as a control white when using dark fillers/filler primers. Areas of application: • Ideal for spot repair and part painting. Physical and chemical data: • Binder base: Polyvinyl butyral • Color: various, see order information • Odor: solvent-like • Yield: • Depending on the nature and color of the substrate, 400 ml covers approx. 1.0 m² • Substrate: - Bare sanded-through areas in 2K filler or in 2K old coating, sanded and cleaned filler areas, sanded and cleaned factory primers, sanded and cleaned factory or old coatings, and on almost all plastics • Drying (at 20°C, 50% relative humidity): - 30-40 minutes - The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, humidity, and the thickness of the applied layer. • Temperature resistance: up to 250°C • Durability/Storage: - 10 years with proper storage (=10°-25°C, relative humidity of max 60%) Environment and labeling: • Environmentally friendly: The products of MOTIP DUPLI are 100% free of health-damaging heavy metals. The caps and packaging are made of recyclable materials.
